Once again, MAHA has received the prestigious industry award, which is presented based on a reader poll conducted by the trade magazine WERKSTATT aktuell. The company already impressed in 2017 and 2020 in the category of lifting systems and mobile column lifts. In 2020 and 2021, the subsidiary brand ATT was honored in the Pits category for its TRUCKBAY product. Now in 2025, MAHA is awarded in the Pit Jacks category – yet another testament to the company’s ongoing innovative strength.
Haldenwang, 24th July 2025. In this year’s reader poll by WERKSTATT aktuell, MAHA was voted best brand in the Pit Jacks category – securing nearly 20 percent more votes than the runner-up. The well-established industry award – formerly known as the Best Brand Award – was presented for the eleventh time and is regarded as a reliable benchmark for workshop-relevant brands in the German market.
A total of 224 brands across 21 product categories were up for vote – ranging from pit jacks and lifting technology to testing and diagnostic equipment. A new record was set with 1,838 workshop and service professionals taking part in the voting. With its renaming to WERKSTATT aktuell AWARD, a new chapter begins for the long-standing award. However, the core principle remains unchanged: the decision is made exclusively by industry professionals.
“This award is a great recognition of our team’s ongoing development work. With every innovation – from the self-supporting axle crossbeam to the GMT series for safe unit removal, and most recently our breakthrough pit jack that prevents air intake into the oil chamber – we pursue one clear goal: practical solutions for everyday workshop needs. At Automechanika 2024, we presented our vision of a battery-powered pit jack for the first time – another milestone, born out of close collaboration with our customers,” explains Holger Seeliger, Product Manager at MAHA and responsible for in-ground lifting technology.
The company’s management also sees the award as an important validation: “We are absolutely delighted with this award and would like to thank all readers for their trust,” says Dr. Peter Geigle, Managing Director of MAHA. “We are continuously working on progress. This award clearly confirms the quality of our products, our innovative strength, and our customer focus.”
The award ceremony took place on 22nd July 2025 as part of the Winner Dinner at the DEKRA Club Restaurant in Stuttgart, where MAHA was officially honored alongside the other recipients. A detailed report will be published in issue 03/2025 of WERKSTATT aktuell.
